Acts on the day
Since their long, successful careers in the 1980s stockmarket, Hystereo, over the last 5 years, have slowly become one of Ireland’s top dance duos, following their Corporate Crimewave album, they have had a string of successful rebrands from Deadbots, Digitialism & Lowbrows on such label like Soma, Craft & Advanced.
TR-One have come to prominence with a string of releases on their own Broken Audio Movement label, as well as Irish labels like Nice’N’Nasty and Bodytonic’s POGO imprint. Their DJ sets are filled with sheer dancefloor winners from funky soul and disco all the way up to bumpin’ house and techno.
They will be joined by Kev Sheridan and his infamous ‘One Man Loop’ show. Using a variety of electronic gadgets to make modern dancefloor beats, Kev sings snatches of popular hits over them, as well as adding live percussion into the mix as he beats out rhythms on a variety of traditional African drums.
A selection of Ireland’s finest DJ’s and producers from some of Dublins top labels will also be showcased at the event, with a sweet blend of sounds, from dubstep to disco, from hip hop to house.

The farm is an unlicensed venue and thus everyone is more than welcome to bring their own alcohol. No glass is permitted on the farm so, please, take this into consideration. Plastic containers, cups, a fridge facility and ice will be provided for everyone throughout the day. Toilet and cloakroom facilities will also be available. The party is fully insured and is being run with the co-operation of the local Gardai and Hospital.
Keep with the theme of the farm, we are very excited to announce that festival goers will be able to enjoy the culinary skills of The Organic Kitchen, which won the Green Award at last year’s Electric Picnic, and don’t worry veggies, there will be a veggie option.

This is a private party and you have been invited as friends of those people playing on the day or as friends of the organisers. There is no payment at the door nor will there be a paying guest list.
As we said before, once invitations are accepted, you will be asked to make a donation of €25 to cover transport costs and the up keep of the venue.
Ten per cent of any proceeds will be donated to Self Help Africa, a charity dedicated to empowering rural Africans to achieve economic independence through more advanced farming methods and collective bargaining with suppliers.
We’re delighted to have been invited down for a night of ballyhoo in Dublin’s dirtiest basement (that isn’t actually a basement) at Discotekken, suas an staire at the Twisted Pepper. Louis has been doing a fine job of booking a who’s who of supercool talent over the last couple of years, including Juju & Jordash, Space Dimension Controller, I-F and DMX Krew as well as hosting locals like Lerosa, Slow Burn and TR-ONE to name a few.
Nico will be waving the Fatty Fatty banner while Pablo will be representing Downtownsounds. Also on the lineup is Olan from Dublin record label/shop success All City, with Louis himself also planning to throw down a few tunes.
It’s all about intimacy at Discotekken, with nowhere to hide on the dancefloor you best turn up with your dancing shoes and a smile.
NB: Make sure to put your name down for reduced admission here. It takes 5 seconds and will save you the price of a Budvar!
Double NB: Saturday is also World Record Store Day so if you have any 12”s or LP’s gathering dust on your shelves, bring them down and trade em up with someone else. Remember: one man’s regretful impulse buy is another man’s long sought after diamond.
Fatty Fatty are very proud to present the debut Irish appearance of Brighton’s Soft Rocks crew.
Fatty Fatty & Radiomade are proud to present another headspinning night of musical madness at the Sugar Club.
So our night on the lash in the Sugar Club was an all round success… many thanks to everyone who made it a very special party.
It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the postponement of A Day On The Farm due to reasons too heartbreaking to go into… but worry not!
